“不可能的”两个经典句型的互换

There is(was)+no +动词ing句型，表示做某事是不可能的。意思相当于 It’s impossible to do sth.或 We can’t do sth.,表示“不可能做某事”。

There is(was)+no +动词ing结构相当于It is(was) impossible to +动词原形，如：

There is no saying what may happen.= It is impossible to say what may happen.

说出将要发生什么是不可能的。

There is no going home. =It is impossible to go home. 回家是不可能的。

There is no living with him.=It is impossible to live with him. 和他住在一起是不可能的。

There is no knowing what may happen. =

It is impossible to know what may happen. 不可能知道会发生什么。

There is no telling what will happen tomorrow.=

It’s impossible to what will happen tomorrow. 谁也无法预料明天会发生什么。

= It’s impossible to know the future.

= We can’t know the future.

我们不可能知道未来。

It’s impossible to hold back the wheel of history.历史车轮不可阻挡。

It’s impossible to say what The’ll be doing next.他接下去要做什么，很难断言。

There is no bearing such rude remarks.=

It’s impossible to bear such rude remarks.如此粗话，叫人根本无法忍受。

There was no telling when she would be back.= It’s impossible to tell when she would be back.没法知道她什么时候回来。
