职场口语：change shifts with coworker(与同事调班调休)

首先，我不喜欢用中文“教”或“告诉”你这个英语怎么说，不过，似乎大家都喜欢也习惯这么学，我就随大流一回：I follow suit=I comply with the majority.

1) shift(班)：three shifts in a day：your morning shift,your evening shift and your night shift.

Do you usually work day shift or night shift?

实际上，我不喜欢把shift“读成”中文“班”：

Well,your shift is your 8 hours’ working time in the morning,in the evening or at night

忘了shift，就说这些英语吧，对方听懂了自然告诉你：Oh,you mean shift?

Your shift is your working time,is your work schedule.

2)change shift with your colleague or co-worker(调班)

英语：When you change a shift with your co-worker,you can also say：I swap shift with him：to swap something means to exchange or change something.

For example,you may say：Would it be OK if I will swap/change my Monday morning shift to Friday morning shift (with you)?

3)day off(休班)

You may request/ask your boss to change/swap a day off with your co-worker.

我不知道喜欢用中文学英语的你忘记shift时会不会换成其它表达与你同事沟通：这就是学会语言沟通能力与用中文死记硬背某个可能“短路”的英语单词的本质区别。
