著名画家、设计家、教育家。1941年生于上海，原上海理工大学设计院院长，中国布面、木板水彩画及新意象画派创始人。现为中国美术家协会会员、上海水彩画协会艺术顾问、中国炎黄画院荣誉顾问、艺术院士、上海中外文化艺术交流协会高级艺术顾问、纽约《世界艺术研究院》院士、研究员

A famous painter, designer, educator. Born in Shanghai in 1941, he was the principal of the Department of Design of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology; a founder of Chinese watercolors on canvas and woods, and a founder of Neo-Imagism. He is currently a member of China Artists Association; an art consultant of Shanghai Watercolor Association; an honorary consultant of China Yan Huang Painting Academy; an art academician; a senior art consultant of Shanghai Sino-Foreign Culture and Art Communication Association; an academician and researcher of New York “World Research Institute of Art”

陈培荣长期从事高等美术教育四十余年，潜心艺术创作逾半个世纪，其作品多次参加国内外重大画展并屡次获奖。

Chen Peirong had been working in high-level art education for more than 40 years, dedicated in art creation for more than a half-century, his works participated and won awards from many important national and international exhibitions.

Professor Chen Peirong’s watercolor artworks absorb art nutrients and skills from many western watercolors and exploit his own style. 陈培荣先生的新意象油画，绘画语言集东西方艺术精华于一体，既有中国古典绘画的气韵，又有西方意象绘画的现代视觉感，作品呈现出“清、虚、玄、韵”的艺术风格，在当今画坛独树一帜，有着强烈的艺术生命力。作品广受海内外艺术藏家和观赏者的喜爱。

Mr. Chen Peirong’s new imagist oil paintings merged the art languages of both eastern and western art essences, they have the rhyme of Chinese ancient paintings and contain the modern visual sense of western imagery paintings. The works reveal a “fresh, illusory, fantastic, and charming” art style, which is unique in the contemporary art altar, possessing strong art vitality. The works are loved by collectors and viewers within and out of the country.
